The Ohio Challenge Festival will be following all guidelines put in place by Governor DeWine.
Covid-19 related changed to the Ohio Challenge event:
- Shuttle service will not be available inside Smith park
- There will be no tethered balloon rides
- There will be no public access to the balloons
- There will be no craft vendors
Below is a list of requirements set forth by Ohio (Click to see full details):
•The maximum number of spectators permitted to be in attendance at an indoor facility with fixed seating is 25% of the capacity of the facility.
• A distance of 6 feet should be maintained between seated spectators with groups of no more than 10 people seated together.
• Participants, spectators, and judges must, when possible, maintain a distance of 6 feet between each other.
• Family members of the participants should have priority in the viewing area.
• Each family should group together in the viewing area, and there should be six feet between families.
• Microphones must be sanitized after each person uses them.
• Organizers should consider the use of virtual exhibitions, competitions, and auctions, although this is not required. Priority seating shall be family members of participants and buyers at auctions
